Professional Development Grant

The intent of this award is to foster growth and development of MNC members within their established nutrition, food, or health career.

Award of up to $500 to a current MNC member to participate in a nutrition and/or food-related professional development program (ex. conference, course).
The award can be used for registration or transportation (if needed) for the staff development program.
Current full-time college students and previous MNC Professional Development Grant recipients (formerly called the Lifelong Learner Award) are not eligible to apply for these funds.
The winner will be announced at the MNC Annual Conference.
The deadline to apply for the 2026 PDG is August 1, 2026.
