2023 Scholarship Recipient: Christy Ellingsworth

The Maine Nutrition Council awards an
annual $500 scholarship to ELIGIBLE students

MNC Scholarships are awarded at the Annual Conference.

To be eligible for consideration for this award you must be either:

  1. A full-time first or second year in Associate’s degree seeking Culinary Arts/ Human Nutrition attending a Maine community college

  2. A full-time sophomore or junior in Bachelor’s degree seeking Food Science/ Human Nutrition/ Food Studies Program attending a Maine college/university

  3. Master’s degree or PhD. candidate in Food Science/ Human Nutrition attending a Maine college/university

To be eligible for consideration for this award you must also:

  1. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

  2. Submit one letter of recommendation from a faculty member with this application.

The deadline to apply for 2024 MNC Scholarships is May 31, 2024.
