2025 Scholarship Award Recipients: Emma Watras and Bryn Kubinsky

The Maine Nutrition Council awards an
annual $500 scholarship to ELIGIBLE students

MNC Scholarships are awarded at the Annual Conference.

To be eligible for consideration for this award you must be either:

  1. Full time first or second year in Associate’s degree seeking Culinary Arts/Human Nutrition/Dietetic Program attending a Maine community college.

  2. Full time Sophomore/Junior in Bachelor’s degree seeking Food Science/Human Nutrition/Food Studies Program attending a Maine college/university.

  3. Master’s degree candidate in Food Science/Human Nutrition attending a Maine college/university.

  4. PhD. candidate in Food Science/Human Nutrition attending a Maine college/university.

    Recipients for the MNC Scholarship Award from previous years are still encouraged to apply for this year, but new applicants will be considered a top priority when applicants are reviewed.

To be eligible for consideration for this award you must also:

  1. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

  2. Submit one letter of recommendation from a faculty member with this application.

The deadline to apply for 2025 MNC Scholarships is May 31, 2025.
