MNC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

Executive Chair

Provides overall leadership to the Council, Board of Directors, and Executive Committee; leads the board in setting and achieving annual goals; and presides over board meetings.

Executive Vice-Chair

Supports the Chair in providing leadership to the Council and Board of Directors, serves on the Executive Committee, and prepares to succeed as Chair.

Treasurer

Oversees the financial affairs of the Council, including managing funds, maintaining accurate financial records, paying approved expenses, and providing regular financial reports to the Board.

SECRETARY- Open Position

Records and distributes meeting minutes, supports accurate membership records, and assists with board communications.

MEMBER-AT-LARGE

Administers the Katherine O. Musgrave Public Service Award, Professional Development Grant and Scholarship program. Coordinates requests to display the Maine Nutrition Council exhibit board at conferences and events.

Kathryn Walker

Serves as Chief Executive Officer of the Maine Nutrition Council Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.

Brianna Fortin

Serves as Vice-Chief Executive Officer of the Maine Nutrition Council, Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.

Willie Grenier

Serves as Treasurer of the Maine Nutrition Council Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.

Open Position

Serves as Treasurer of the Maine Nutrition Council Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.

Alex Bosse

Serves as Member-At-Large of the Maine Nutrition Council Board of Directors and the Executive Committee.

Legislative

This Committee tracks legislation that may be of interest to members, writes responses as appropriate and writes the legislative update for the Maine Nutrition Council.
