2017 Scholarship Application

MNC Scholarship Solicitation Letter  

To be eligible for consideration for this award you must be: (Fulfill one 1-4):

  1. A full time student in your sophomore or junior year at the University of Maine in the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition.
  2. A full time student in your first or second year in a Maine Dietetic Technician Program.
  3. A full time student in your first or second year in a Maine Culinary Arts Program.
  4. A master’s degree student in the University Of Maine Food Science and Human Nutrition Program with a food science or human nutrition concentration.

To be eligible for consideration for this award you must also:

  1. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
  2. Submit one letter of recommendation from a faculty member with this application.

The scholarship recipients will be awarded at the MNC Annual Conference which will be held on April 10th at MaineGeneral in Augusta. We ask that recipients attend or have someone accept the award for them (lunch will be provided).

Application and Letter of Recommendation must be received by March 1, 2017.
